Stop adding sh*t.

Can I add more fonts?

Does it benefit your user?

Back in the old days of the web, we were stuck with using just a few fonts. These days we have the option to use pretty much whatever the font we want.

But just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Having lots of fonts on your site can make it look unstructured, messy and unprofessional. Try to keep it to a minumum of three fonts.

Using custom web fonts means an increase in weight(kb) on your site. This can really reduce performance which can ultimately reduce conversions. Try to use system fonts where possible.

Discuss with your developer the option of using variable fonts.
